The reigning World champion and the reigning Premier league champion teamed up and dismantled a quality field.

The number two seeds ( England being one ) were never really in any trouble at any stage in any match, even though Michael Van Gerwen lost two of his singles matches, when the Dutch darting duo were asked a question they had all the answers.
The last three major events have been collected by the men clad in orange.

The Netherlands dismissed team England ( Taylor & Lewis ) in the final by three games to nil.
Taylor was beaten 4-0 by a rampant Michael then the same scoreline was repeated by RVB over an out of sorts Adrian Lewis.
Lewis then took to the stage again hoping to save the match by beating MVG, this match was all about the scoring consistency of the current world champion, he had too much for Lewis.
They had done it, Team Holland were crowned World Champions.

Well done to all those who took part in this wonderful championship. The growth of darts is in safe hands.
