I am really looking forward to this year’s Barbados Darts Festival in November because it promises to be even better than last year because we have broadened our participant base to include groups from both Canada and the USA – for the very first time!
The organisers have done really well to attract sponsors like my darts sponsor, Harrows, and their distributor in Barbados, Brydens. This enables the organisers to offer superb value-for-money packages. Participants from the UK can enjoy 10 nights in Barbados ( air fare, accommodation, tournament entry fees, transport to darts venues etc ) for as little as £850 per person!
The programme has been specifically arranged so that participants from both Canada and the USA can take part in all the major events if they are only there for six or seven nights and again there are some great value-for-money packages available from their accredited travel agents there.
Last year there were also 50 participants from the Caribbean and South American countries as well as a strong contingent from Barbados and they all welcome the chance to test their game against new opposition.
Players of all standards are welcome and partners who don’t play are also well catered for because Barbados has so many things to offer and caters for all tastes. My wife Donna and my sister Donna have always wanted to go to Barbados and they had a ball last year and this time Donna’s husband will be joining us.Why don’t you join us too?
