VIVA LAS VEGAS
Tuesday | 23/08/2011
It must be at least four years since I boarded a plane without my darts case in tow but that was the plan in August as Donna and myself decided to allow ourselves the luxury of a real holiday at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas.
Peter and Chrissie Manley joined us and we really had a great time – with no time constraints on anything we wanted to do. We took advantage of the great climate and the pools and explored the menu to the full! We were in the gambling capital of the world, but, suffice it to say, none of us are contemplating retirement from our winnings at the tables!
The ten days passed all too quickly and even though we had declared our vacation a “darts-free zone” we found an English pub on the strip, The Queen Victoria in the Riviera Hotel, where there were eight dart boards!
